Overmolding combines multiple materials into a single part, and in this article you’ll find photos of some of the overmolded seals we make in Mexico.

The overmolding process typically involves pre-loading a mold with a rigid component such as a bushing, case, or insert. Once the position is confirmed, rubber is injected and bonded either mechanically, chemically, or both.
