Brenda Vega is the leader of our Automotive Transmission Filter Plate Unit, and under her guidance, our team has achieved new milestones in low internal scrap rates.

In rubber molding, a scrap rate is considered world-class at around 2% or 3%. But Brenda and her team have recently achieved the incredible metric of under 1% scrap. An impressive accomplishment for any molded seal, and even more impressive considering the relative complexity of filter plates, which include an over-molded plastic component.

CEO Kevin Morgan elaborates,
