Grommets + Fastener Seals
Grommets and Fastener Seals can include cam cover grommets, fuel rail grommets, and drain plug seals. Cam covers often incorporate an isolated design to eliminate contact between the cover and cylinder head for NVH (noise vibration hardness) reduction. Fuel rail grommets also have an isolated design for vibration isolation. Drain plug seals are generally a captured O-ring style seal that will be retained rather than fall off the fastener like copper washer designs common to most new domestic vehicles.
